For my contest I nutritionally compared 2 fast food meals. One of them was the bacon cheeseburger from five guys and fries. The other meal was the bacon cheeseburger from Burger King. Neither of these meals are super healthy or good for you, but one of them is better than the other. The burger that is better for you nutritionally is the one from Burger King for many reasons. For the first thing it has half the amount of calories than the one from five guys. If you are trying to handle a balanced diet but wanted a cheat meal then this burger would be much better for that. There is not nutritional facts having to do with vitamin a, c, or calcium or Iron. These are big nutritional factors that are good for you that has an unknown amount in both of these burgers. The Burger King burger has 18g of protein compared to 5 guys which has 51. The daily value for 51 grams of protein is 102% which is almost unhealthy for just one burger. The daily value for 18 grams is 36%. This isn't great either but it is significantly better than the burger from 5 guys. Cholesterol is another key factor that you definitely do not want a lot of from one meal. The Burger King burger has 55mg of cholesterol in it. This is only a 18% daily value. However, the five guys burger 180mg! This is around 3x the amount of the last burger and 60% of the daily value. This is huge to make this burger much less nutritional. The last thing that I thanked wrapped up the contest for me was the total fat grams and calories from fat. The 5 guys burger has 560 calories from fat while the Burger King burger only has 140. The 5 guys burger has more fat calories than the other burger has total calories! The total fat in grams for the Burger King is 16g which is 25% of the daily value. While this is pretty bad itself the five guys burger has 62 grams, or 95% of the daily value! That is absolutely horrible. This contest was easily wrapped up as Burger King having the much better burger nutritionally and healthy. The 5 guys burger would not support your body and would actually be very hard on it. The nutritional facts for this burger was just terrible and should show people this is definitely not a recommendation to eat.
